Consultation Fees

Balance Endocrinology is a private billing practice, an out-of-pocket fee is applicable and payable on the day of your consultation.

Patients with a valid referral letter and Medicare card are eligible for a rebate, which can be processed on your behalf and automatically deposited back into your nominated bank account usually within 1-2 business days.

These fees and rebates are dependent upon the current Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and may be subject to change. Payments can be made via a debit or credit card. A 1.3% card surcharge will apply.

Late cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or non-attendance will incur a $50 fee.
